In ancient Chinese astronomy, the Four Symbols (also known as the Four Great Divine Beasts)—comprising the Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, Black Tortoise, and White Tiger—are collectively referred to as the "Four Divine Creatures" in folklore. This system divides the sky into four major directional quadrants, each governed by a divine beast that presides over seven constellations within the "Twenty-Eight Mansions" (an ancient system of star groupings).

The number seven symbolizes the golden light of Buddhism—specifically the *Swastika* (卍) emblem; this serves as the key—formed by the four cardinal directions of East, West, South, and North—that turns the "Wheel of the Dharma."

In the "9X" digital era—an age of the Dharma's decline—and situated at the very center of the Body-Mind (perceived through the Dharma Wheel, where the number 8 mirrors the mechanics of all operating linguistic systems), the rotational direction of the Buddhist *Swastika* (or *Wan* symbol—"卍"—formed by four 7s representing East, West, South, and North) is determined.

Furthermore, the great enlightened masters of China—represented by the immutable numbers 1 through 6, which stand as constant manifestations of light—are the enlightened Patriarchs (such as Bodhidharma) who attained realization in ages past.
