Note: The movie “ The English Patient” was released in 1996 starring Kristin Scott Thomas as Katharine Clifton who, a married woman, is the lover of Almasy played by Ralph Fiennes. Also in the film is Juliette Binoche as Hana, the nurse who takes care of Almasy. Both Katharine and Almasy died in tragic death because of their unconditional love.
The film received 12 nominations at the 69th Academy Awards and winning nine, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Supporting Actress. “ The English Patient “ was ranked 55th greatest British film of the 20th Century ( from WikipediA).
