DOAN 1:

(1) Lay Chua,
Ngai giam dinh con va thau suot

(2) Ngai biet duoc cu chi cua con
Moi dieu con phai lo toan
Con ngoi, con dung deu trong mat Ngai

(3) Con va Ngai tuy xa van ly
Ngai van hieu tam y cua con:
Theo con tren moi loi mon
De Ngai cham chut an toan cho con

(4) Ngai tien kien ve con moi su:
Cho du con khong tu noi len

(5) Nay con tau lay Chua tren
Moi viec Ngai biet, khong quen viec nao:
Chua uon nan, ngot ngao dan dat
Va tay Ngai, Ngai dat tren con

(6) Tri Ngai lam choang ngop con:
Tay khong voi toi, nhung long con an.

DOAN 2:

(7) Toi dau moi xa than tri Chua?
Moi lanh hien dien cua Thanh Nhan?

(8) Du con len tan thien dang
Du vao dia nguc Ngai cang hien than

(9) Du bay khi hung dong moi he
Toi chan troi goc be xa xoi

(10) Thi Ngai da den truoc roi
Dua tay ra dan Ngai moi con theo
Canh tay mat Chua nhieu dung manh
Om con vao sat canh ben Ngai

(11) Va con tu nhu dieu nay
Dem den, bong toi co day du khong
De con vui thu trong choc lat
Con muon Ngai an khuat mat con

(12) Nhung bong toi khong con toi nua
Va dem den sang tua ban ngay
Cung nhu nhau doi voi Ngai
Anh sang ban ngay bong toi ban dem.

(13) Ngai so huu noi niem con co
Che cho con tu da mau than

(14) Con ca ngoi Chua vo van
Vi Ngai that dang ton sung vinh danh
Cong viec Chua muon ngan ky dieu
Hon con hieu rat ro dieu nay

(15) Xuong con boi Chua ra tay
Dung cach mau nhiem nao ai dau ngo
The ly con cung nho Ngai tao
Trong dia dao o cho tham sau

(16) Mat Ngai da thay tu lau
Tu khi con moi la bao thai non
Va Ngai da ghi trong so sach
Het moi ngay Ngai tac tao con
Nhung ngay chua co mat con
Ngai deu ghi nho chu toan han hoi.

(17) Than dan Ngai vo cung hanh mat
Cong quoc ho rat muc hung cuong

(18) Ho dong hon cat dai duong
Con ma ngoi dem biet chung nao xong
Khi tinh giac con con ben Chua
Moi luc con mong Chua o gan

(19) Ke ta xin Chua dep tan
Cho phuong khat mau be bang tieu vong

(20) Boi Ngai noi ngay trong tu tuong
Chung hoai cong chong cuong lai Ngai

(21) Con day ghet chung sao khong?
Ke thu ghet Chua: khien con dau long

(22) Con ghet chung, ghet khong nhin noi
Chung tro thanh ke doi nghich con

(23) Xin Ngai giam dinh giup con
De Ngai biet ro tam long cua con
Xin Ngai sat hach con cho ky
De Ngai biet y nghi cua con

(24) Xem con bat hao hay khong
Dat con tien buoc di trong vinh hang.

138 Lord, thou hast proved me, and known me:
2 Thou hast know my sitting down, and my rising up.
3 Thou hast understood my thoughts afar off: my path and my line thou hast searched out.
4 And thou hast foreseen all my ways: for there is no speech in my tongue.
5 Behold, O Lord, thou hast known all things, the last and those of old: thou hast formed me, and hast laid thy hand upon me.
6 Thy knowledge is become wonderful to me: it is high, and I cannot reach to it.
7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy face?
8 If I ascend into heaven, thou art there: if I descend into hell, thou art present.
9 If I take my wings early in the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea:
10 Even there also shall thy hand lead me: and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 And I said: Perhaps darkness shall cover me: and night shall be my light in my pleasures.
12 But darkness shall not be dark to thee, and night shall be light as day: the darkness thereof, and the light thereof are alike to thee.
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast protected me from my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee, for thou art fearfully magnified: wonderful are thy works, and my soul knoweth right well.
15 My bone is not hidden from thee, which thou hast made in secret: and my substance in the lower parts of the earth.
16 Thy eyes did see my imperfect being, and in thy book all shall be written: days shall be formed, and no one in them.
17 But to me thy friends, O God, are made exceedingly honourable: their principality is exceedingly strengthened.
18 I will number them, and they shall be multiplied above the sand: I rose up and am still with thee.
19 If thou wilt kill the wicked, O God: ye men of blood, depart from me:
20 Because you say in thought: They shall receive thy cities in vain.
21 Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hated thee: and pine away because of thy enemies?
22 I have hated them with a perfect hatred: and they are become enemies to me.
23 Prove me, O God, and know my heart: examine me, and know my paths.
24 And see if there be in me the way of iniquity: and lead me in the eternal way.
