18 con song lon bat nguon tu dat nuoc Tay Tang , la cai noi cua Phat Giao Nguyen Thuy, tu ngan xua tat ca vi Duc Dai Lat Ma da canh giu canh cong troi, noi ket noi duy nhat voi Thien Dan.

然而，对于每条河流的下游，那些生活在黑暗中的大城市，我们建议你不要抱有成为明星的幻想，也不要想要出类拔萃，去做一些真正疯狂的事情；相反，要努力成为一棵“参天大树”，因为河流的中上游都是守护天地和他们领地的守护神灵的家园。
西藏是上座部佛教的发源地，十八条主要河流发源于此，自古以来，这些河流都受到达赖喇嘛的守护，达赖喇嘛是通往天堂的唯一门户。

However, when it comes to the downstream reaches of rivers—those vast cities dwelling in such shadowy depths—we advise against harboring illusions of becoming a "Star" or seeking the limelight through some truly reckless act. Instead, aspire to become a "Great Ancient Tree," for the middle and upper reaches are the domains of guardian spirits who protect the heavens and their own territories.
Eighteen great rivers originate in Tibet—the cradle of Theravada Buddhism—a land that has long stood guard over the "Gateway to Heaven," the sole connection to the Celestial Realm, in devotion to the Great Dalai Lama.
