Kung Fu (功夫) là một danh từ gồm hai Chữ : Kung và Fu"mang ý nghĩa bất tận, không bao giờ kết thúc ở bên ngoài và sự trừu tượng ở bên trong ghép lại mà tạo thành:
Chữ 功 (Kung), "Kung của sự đóng góp", ngụ ý về sự rộng lớn, bao la của Kung, tạo nên tất cả giá trị tinh thần và vật chất của toàn bộ Vũ Trụ.
Và chữ 夫 (Fu) có nghĩa là "ngụ ý về Người Đàn Ông". Người chọn Tâm Thức Vàng để Đắc được cả Đạo lớn và Đạo nhỏ.
